Pedro’s products will continue to be available through its existing distributor network but this will now include the addition of Trek’s European distribution centres.
Trek, the US superpower in P&A distribution, has been distributing Pedro's in the US and Australia for three years.
“As we have seen with other continents [the] expanded partnership will give us the opportunity to continue to build market share and reach dealers who might not have previously had the opportunity to purchase Pedro’s," said Tripp Wyckoff, Pedro’s general manager.
"The addition of Trek as a distributor throughout Europe promises to be an important part of our overall growth strategy.”
Effective October, Trek will be distributing Pedro’s branded lubes, bike care products, tools, bags, pumps, and other accessories. These goods will be stocked in all of Trek’s European warehouses.
Pat Sullivan, Trek’s general manager of aftermarket, said:
“Trek’s parts and accessories business has grown throughout Europe by focusing on our own brands. We have seen growth with Pedro’s over the past few years in North America, and we see Pedro’s as a fitting aftermarket compliment to our successful European parts & accessories business.”
Pedro's distributes to 34 countries throughout the world and is a division of Swix Sport USA. Trek Bicycle Corporation distributes to 65 countries and has 1500+ employees worldwide.
