Future’s ten year-old magazine marks the occasion with special edition

Procycling celebrates first decade

Procycling magazine is celebrating its first decade with a special edition, on sale tomorrow (Wednesday March 25th).

The 10 year anniversary issue will be the biggest ever edition of the publication, and will take stock of the last decade while looking ahead to the sport’s future.

The magazine, published by Future, will also feature a 100-page feature on the last ten years in professional cycling and will look at the 10 riders it expects to make headlines for the next 10 years.

Lance Armstrong will get an in-depth article covering the problems he faced during his seven Tour de France victories.

"The last decade has been a rollercoaster ride for the sport and for Procycling,” Procycling editor Peter Cossins. “It’s been fascinating looking back a decade to our launch and a point in time when Lance Armstrong hadn’t won a single Tour, let alone seven.

“But, more than reflecting on past glories, we wanted to look ahead to the riders who will carry the sport forwards in the next ten years, riders like Mark Cavendish who just days ago won Milan-San Remo on his debut in the event.”

Prizes will be up for grabs for readers in issue 124 of Procycling which goes on sale on Wednesday March 25th.
