Suppliers: bid for a Jeff Weir studio session via frameforum.net

Product shot specialist auctions shoot

Top American photographer Jeff Weir shoots product shots for agencies handling household names such as Nike, Oakley, Calvin Klein and Lipton. His pack shots have graced the covers of lifestyle magazines around the globe, such as Harpers and Queens, GQ and National Geographic.

He’s also a cyclist, owner of a hand-built Richard Sachs bike. He’s shot images for Sachs, a fellow Connecticut resident.

Weir is offering for auction a day at his studios, Jeff Weir Photography, with the proceeds going to framebuilding website frameforum.net.

Weir said: "This would be a great opportunity for any of the builders or collectors that visit this forum to get a series of photographs of their favorite pieces. I will cover all costs regarding the actual shoot: photo fee, file conversions, DVD of final images. The DVD will contain two sets of files from the shoot: TIFFs and JPGs."

Frameforum.net first went online in April 2004 and contains lively debate on bike materials, design and geometry.

The site host the official forum for the North American Handmade Bicycle Show and is published by Neil Hassan of the UK.
