Registration opens for Taipei Cycle D&I Awards

If you’re planning to enter the Taipei Cycle D&I Awards 2013 then you’ve got until December 20th 2012 to get registered.

Now in their second year, the Awards saw 207 products from 16 countries entered in their debut showing, honouring innovation and design achievements in the iternational cycle industry.

The organisers said in a statement: "We, TAITRA and TBEA as the hosts of this innovative award for the bicycle industry, and the iF Branch Office Taiwan as its organizer, look very much forward to receiving entries from companies and designers from all over the world.

"The bicycle market is booming and Taiwan has been impressively successful in positioning itself as the international hub of the bicycle industry. In addition to the traditional OEM/ODM industry, the country has also established a solid reputation as an important location for high-quality bicycle manufacturing. Taipei Cycle, Asia’s largest cycling industry event, reflects these trends and developments impressively year after year.

"This award provides an outstanding communication platform on which the bicycle industry can present its special innovations and design achievements to an international audience – an important aspect for companies who want to build up a competitive edge on the global market."
