The riders confirmed for the first event on October 14th are ex-pros Andrea Tafi, Franco Ballerini, Silvio Martinello, Ralf Sorensen, and Max Sciandri. Current riders include Rob Hayles, Chris Newton, Theo Bos, Mickael Bourgain, Chris Hoy, Craig MacLean, and Jamie Staff, the creme de la creme of track riders.
One of those stars could lead you and your guests on a pre-event track taster session. This is a bespoke event and prices depend on the star you request and the amount of folks you invite to the session. The taster session is only available for the October event.
Twelve of the sixteen VIP tables in the track centre hospitality area have already been booked for the October 14th series starter. Bike trade companies such as Science in Sport will be wining and dining retailers at the event but there will also be representation from non bike trade companies.
James Pope of Face Partnership, organising company behind the series, said a big push had been carried out in the Greater Manchester region to sell corporate hospitality packages to companies who have never been to cycle events before.
"Revolution is three hours of non-stop action, twice the length of a football match. And the VIP guests get up close to the athletes," said Pope.
Corporate guests get free food and drink included in the hospitality price. The catering is being handled by Taste which specialises in 'creative food experiences'. The wine sponsor is Ravenswood Wines.
"With Ravenswood on board as the new wine sponsor and the complimentary bar providing the necessary liquid refreshment, track centre at Revolution delivers a new, exciting offering for sports fans and foodies alike," said Pope.
"VIP track centre tickets will provide exclusive access via the VIP entrance to the new look track centre area. Guests will be greeted with drinks and canapés and will be shown to their table to collect their complimentary event programmes.
"As the racing gets underway track centre will provide an intense close up perspective of the action with tables being just metres away from the track. Star riders will mingle with guests during breaks in racing."
Track centre tickets start at £75 per ticket.
For larger parties there's a Revolution hospitality box with its own bar.
Bike trade companies could sponsor one or more of the star riders and at the end of the evening they are presented with a signed branded jersey by the rider.
