Series will climax at Lee Valley VeloPark next March

Revolution grand finale being staged at Olympic Velodrome

Lee Valley VeloPark, at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, will host the finale of the Revolution track cycling series as its first major event.

The finale, taking place March 15th 2014, will bring Olympic stars back to the London 2012 Velodrome to compete for the first time since the Games. The Velodrome itself is at the heart of the Lee Valley VeloPark, opening early 2014, pulling together track cycling, mountain biking, BMX and road cycling.

Registration is now open for Revolution Series Season 11 tickets in London, Manchester and Glasgow, featuring five rounds. The action begins on Sunday October 26th 2013 at the National Cycling Centre.

“We’re thrilled that the grand finale of the Revolution Series will be held at Lee Valley VeloPark, said Shaun Dawson, Chief Executive of Lee Valley Regional Park Authority. "This will be the first major event taking place at the London 2012 Velodrome after the unforgettable Olympic and Paralympic Games. Fans will get the opportunity to witness elite cycling from 150 top riders, including London 2012 medallists once again.

“The Games provided us with epic moments on the 250 metre superfast track. Our first major post-Games event will bring that magic back to this world class legacy venue again.”
