Ribble launches updated online BikeBuilder platform

Ribble Cycles has launched the latest simplified version of its unique online BikeBuilder.

The platform, which offers consumers an in-depth level of customisation when purchasing a new bike, has been a staple of Ribble Cycles’ online offering for many years.

Users are able to select frames, groupsets or wheels, and customise finishing details such as tyres and handlebar widths.

The latest version of the platform includes a simplified builder process, in which users can opt for recommended builds; these are viewable through higher-quality imagery and in-depth product information.

Ribble Cycles’ chief digital officer Matthew Lawson said: “We have long been extremely proud to offer our customers the highest level of online bike customisation on the market. BikeBuilder V3 makes the tool easier to use, particularly for those newer to the sport who may need slightly more assistance in understanding what equipment is most suited to their needs and budget.

“Some customers simply don’t require a full level of customisation. All shoppers are catered for with the new platform, and yet still have the option to choose key components including groupset, finishing kits and wheels from a refined ‘recommended’ selection of three.”

The full Advanced BikeBuilder platform option will remain available as part of the service. For more information on the updated BikeBuilder, visit the Ribble website here.
