Roger Hammond added to Road Cycling Show speakers

IPC’s Road Cycling Show, kicking off this weekend at Sandown Park, Esher will welcome recently retired professional Roger Hammond on the Sunday.

Hammond is a specialist on the classics and will be interviewed by Cycling Weekly in the theatre, where he will share his thoughts on his favourite race, the Paris Roubaix where he finished third in 2004, among other classics.

With Italian legend Mario Cipolllini opening the show; Team SKY riders Alex Dowsett, Christian Knees and Mat Hayman; former world Champion and World Hour Record holder Graeme Obree; former Olympian and World Champion Rob Hayles; as well as a host of other cycling celebrities attending, there will be plenty to keep attendees busy.

There will also be coaching, performance and tech seminars in the Cycling Weekly and Gatorade G Series Pro Theatres, trade and retail stands, criterium races on Saturday afternoon and a multi-distance sportive on Sunday.

Tickets will cost £15 on the door or £12 in advance for adults. £10 for seniors and U16’s go free if accompanied by a paying adult.
