New improved website on the way for cycle retailer

Rutland revamps online portal

Following extensive year-on-year growth, Rutland Cycling has overhauled its e-commerce site to back a growing retail business.

Rutland’s previous e-commerce site, launched in February 2005, was very simple and basic, according to the retailer.

However the much improved new sleek site features a contemporary colour scheme in blue and green, and is easier and more intuitive for customers to navigate. The new portal also includes social media links, improved feedback posting functions and more in-house photography.

Director Steve Gill said: “[It will be a] professional and stunning website adding the much overdue new look with brighter colours and consistency, it is very appealing in terms of design and also adheres to all usability and SEO guidelines to boost search engine rankings.”

The website re-launch is set to take place next week (week commencing Monday March 22nd 2010).
