First shipment due in on Monday

Scoop takes stock of first Volume track frames

The first shipment of the much anticipated Volume track frames are due at Scoop as of Monday, according to Scoop MD Mason Smith.

Venturing into territory outside its traditional BMX background, Smith commented: "The interest has been really high as it’s an unusual product for us. We have had lots of calls about these frames already. We have only the 53cm and 56 cm coming in to stock in all three colours."

The Cutter is made from identical steel as Volume’s BMX frames, utilising reinforced gussets, but keeping a tight track geometry. In an added perk, the frames offer a lifetime warrantyon materials and workmanship against the frame and fork.

Specs of the new frame can be found here.

The Fixie scene is already raving about the BMX company’s entrance into the track frame arena. Fixed magazine talks about the model here.

UK retail price will be £289 for the frame and fork.

Of other BMX companies entering the fixie market, USA manufacturer FBM (Fat Bald Men) has this on offer via distributor 4Down.
