Silverfish UK has been appointed the official and exclusive UK distributor for the Cove range of bikes and stuff from Canada. Silverfish UK will import the complete line of Cove products including frames, apparel and components.
Cove Bikes was founded in 1981 and is located in Deep Cove, North
Vancouver, pure North Shore country.
“Cove mountain bikes are reliable, high performance, off-road bikes built to withstand brutal, insane trails that the craziest of North Shore freeriders haul ass on,” said Plymouthonian, Darren Mabbott, owner of Silverfish.
The current line up of Cove frames includes the Columbu- tubed steel Handjob, the
aluminium T62 Stiffee FR and Stiffee SL, the titanium 325 Hummer and the
aluminium T62 full suspension G Spot.
"We are very excited about securing the distribution rights for Cove in the
UK," said Mabbott.
"The quality of the Cove frames is second to none, and with a growing cult reputation, they will prove extremely successful.”
Silverfish’s also imports Race Face components and Roach apparel and body armour. Both brands are Canadian.
"Vancouver is a mountainbike mecca and you truly would not believe the riding opportunities in British Columbia as well as the riders themselves. This lends itself to
improvements in components and frame design that are more suited to the
British market where hardcore hardtails and bombproof components are
increasingly being demanded,” said Mabbott.
“On top of that, the weather is just as crappy in Canada in the winter as it is in the UK.”
