The Intense Tire Systems range comprises DH, Freeride, XC and All Mountain tread patterns.
Richie Rowland, head of sales at Silverfish, said:
Adding the Intense tyre line-up to the Silverfish stable was a no-brainer. The tread patterns are awesome, its a high profile brand which sits well within our product line-up."
He added that because Silverfish is expanding "we seem to have achieved the impossible – dealer margins are going up and retail prices are coming down."
New for 2006, Silverfish will be offering a UK-specific line of tyres, largely brought about by the introduction of a new FRO (For Race Only) LITE tyre option, offering Intenses Super Sticky Compounds in a light casing perfect for UK conditions.
At next weeks Core Bike show in West Bromwich, Silverfish will have the full range of Intense tyres on show. Intense Tires head honcho Joe Staron will also be attending.
