Spokesfest has teamed up with Leicestershire NHS Trust to promote the benefits of cycle commuting to their employees.
With over ten thousand staff working at three hospitals the health authority is one of the city’s largest employers.
The scheme, which will be launched in Bike Week at Leicester Royal Infirmary, will involve the Spokesfest team visiting with displays and being on hand to advise on all aspects of cycle commuting, including which bike to choose, safe routes, equipment and clothing.
Similar projects with Leicester University and Leicestershire County Council are under negotiation.
