Stan’s NoTubes introduces high-performance race sealant via a new R&D division, and updates its logo too.

Stan’s NoTubes rolls out new logo, R&D division & race sealant

It’s all go at Stan’s NoTubes. The fifteen-year-old US company is rolling out a new R&D division, a new logo and a new race sealant.

Stan’s Racing Development, or SRD, is the new R&D division, and it is responsonle for the new race sealant.

“When everything is on the line, this is the sealant you want in your tyres,” said Stan Koziatek, founder and owner of Stan’s NoTubes. “We’ve worked with the pros to create a sealant that seals more quickly and more reliably, meaning less air is lost during punctures so you can get to the finish line faster.”

Stan’s Racing Development was created to pursue high-performance, race-oriented products. A comapny statement said: "SRD products are the embodiment of all of the time spent determining how to shave tenths of a second from the clock by developing the absolute best equipment that provides our athletes with an advantage on race day."

The new sealant is called Race Sealant.

"Race Sealant starts with the same premium low-viscosity latex blend that we developed when we invented tubeless conversion 15 years ago," said Koziatek.

"Like our standard sealant, new Race Sealant is formulated to perform in temperatures as low as -30 degrees Fahrenheit to let you ride where and when you want. Of course, we also used natural materials to ensure that our sealant is non-toxic, non-hazardous and safe for humans and the environment."

Race Sealant is said to have nearly twice the amount of the company’s standard sealing crystals, plus additional "XL" crystals capable of sealing even larger punctures.

"The combination of new larger and more smaller crystals interlock to form a lattice work that not only seals punctured tyres faster but also strengthens and reinforces them," said Koziatek.

Race Sealant must be installed directly into the tyre.
