Storck gets new UK website

At Eurobike in Germany, Storck Bicycle launched the Aernario Disc and the Adrenic MTB – and the German brand’s UK distributor has launched a new website.

The storck-raddar.co.uk website is to be retired, with content moving to storck-bicycle.cc. This features much more white space and a clickable top gallery.

The new website links to Stork’s select UK dealers, including Edinburgh Bicycle and Primera Sports of Bournemouth. Storck bikes are not sold by online-only retailers.

Storck’s new bikes released at Eurobike include the Aernario Disc, the first Storck road bike frame with disc brakes. The updated Aernario frame, within a new fork, weighs 940g and a full bike – with hydraulic disc brakes – could be specced at a weight 5 grams lower than the UCI road bike limit of 6.8kg (13.9lb), said Markus Storck.

The Adrenic mountain bike has 27.5 inch wheels, Storck’s first 650B bike. This replaces the Organic and has the same virtual four-bar linkage. The Adrenic on the Storck stand at Eurobike was a rapid prototype.

There’s also an expanded line of Storck Cycling Gear clothing with new lines for MTBers, additional winter layers and waterproofs made from stretchy fabrics from the likes of Toray of Japan.

The UK distribution of Storck is now handled by Storck Raddar UK. Raddar is Storck’s electric bike line. Created in 2010 by industry veteran Ian Hughes, Storck Raddar now handles the full Storck line, including clothing.
