Specialized has submitted a planning application to transform a former car showroom into a Specialized Concept store. The proposed store is on Eastgate road in Bristol and is the third in as many years to convert from cars to bicycles.
Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op’s sixth branch opened in Sheffield and was formerly a car dealership. Stephen James Cycles of Enfield is a bike shop converted from a car showroom and is operated by a car dealership.
The Bristol store – due to open in May – was formerly a Chrysler Jeep dealership. It will be the UK’s twelth Specialized Concept Store.
