Top riders sign up for Haymarket’s Bike 2003

The Bike Show 2003 ("staged in association with the British Heart Foundation") will have the obligatory BSX competition, on a track made from 2000 tonnes of dirt. Amongst the riders battling it out for the ten grand purse are Steve Peat and two times World Champion Dale Holmes. Others planning to show include Brian Lopes, Eric Carter and Brian Schmith.

New for 2003 will be BMX racing taking place in the BSX arena. Riders include Robbie Miranda of the US and Britain’s World Champion MBX-and-track star Jamie Staff.

TJ Lavin, Tim Fuzzy Hall and Chris Doyle will be pulling all the dirt jumping action.

In the BMX Vert area, Jamie Bestwick will be up against other leading Vert names such as Simon Tabron and Zach Shaw.

Martin Hawyes and Martyn Ashton will be joined in the trials area by Petr Kraus.
