Tuscan road cycling trips with Team Sky sports director now available

In November, British-born former professional cyclist Team Sky sports director Dario Cioni will be putting Adler Thermae guests through their paces on daily road bike tours in Tuscany.

Cioni has been with Team Sky since 2011, working with Sir Bradley Wiggins and now Chris Froome. As a sports director, he is right at the heart of a team’s success, giving orders and advice to the Team Sky riders during competition.

Adler Thermae is located in the Val d’Orcia – a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognised for its outstanding natural beauty – providing ideal conditions for bike touring.

There are over 200 kilometres of cycling trails within the Val d’Orcia, and over 1000 kilometres of GPS-guided trails for mountain bikes, e-bikes and racing bikes, if guests choose to put in some extra rides on their own. Using the Adler Therma app, riders can navigate safely and easily through the countryside, at the same time receiving lots of information about conditions, altitude, the length and duration of routes.

The Road Bike Week with Professional Bikers takes place between November 13th and 20th 2016, ranging from â‚¬618 to €1450. The package also includes unlimited use of the hotel’s thermal pools and all other spa facilities, internet access and underground car parking. Book here.
