UK Department of Education to link with Department of Transport to promote cycling to school

Clarke is a political bruiser and, significantly, a former chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Cycle Group.

At the safe routes to school conference, Clarke will outline the Education Department’s position on the links between education and the journey to school, reflecting new commitment to work on these issues alongside the Department for Transport.

Now that two government departments are working together to promote cycling, let’s hope somebody can crack heads together and bring the Department of Health on board.
