CTC Cymru-organised event on track to take place in July

Wales gears up for Festival of Cycling

The Welsh Festival of Cycling is expected to attract hundreds of cyclists next month at Rhayader.

Taking place over four days from Friday July 24th to Monday 27th, the festival will give cyclists, including families, the chance to take in what the organisers are calling some of the best scenery in Wales.

Five cycle rides will take place every day across a range of routes including off-road rides, a freewheeling competition, treasure hunts and family-friendly routes on quiet lanes. The Festival will be based at Rhayader Rugby Football Club.

“It’s a great chance for cyclists from across Wales and beyond to get together and celebrate the great routes and beautiful scenery we have here in Wales,” enthused Welsh Festival of Cycling organiser Emrys Jones.
