Online shopping experiences rated by the consumer champ

Which declares Wiggle the UK’s top online sports retailer

Which? has rated Wiggle as the UK’s number one online sports retailer, in terms of online shopping experiences.

The retailer was also placed fifth on the overall online retailer list, a broader chart covering wider retail.

Feedback from more than 10,000 members of the public took part in what is Which’s most comprehensive survey to date – which was opened to the general public for voting for the first time.

Wiggle, like the rest of the retailers on the list, was measured on price, deliveries, quality and ease of finding products. A ‘customer’ score was calculated based on customer satisfaction and the customer’s likeliness to recommend the retailers website and services. Wiggle gained an 83 per cent customer score, which put it in 5th position, with electrical goods retailer AO.com taking top spot with an 87 per cent rating.

Wiggle’s chief marketing and sales officer Harvey Bennett said: “We are delighted that consumers have rated Wiggle as the UK’s best online sports retailer in Which?’s best and worst online shops survey. This is a great accolade and a proud achievement for the business. We are always working closely with our customers to ensure we are delivering the best service and advice in order to continue improving. We are looking forward to achieving an even higher position next year.”

Wiggle recently launched its first mobile retail app. www.wiggle.com
