CSG home brand secures seven new distribution contracts

Xposure BMX brand goes global

The Xposure BMX brand, created by Hot Wheels in the early 90s, has announced it is now to go global with the addition of seven international distributors.

Acquired by Cycling Sports Group in September 2009, the brand now has a wider reach and will be carried by firms in USA, Australia, New Zealand, Greece, Sweden, South Africa and Japan.

The expansion into North American has meant Xposure has been able to call upon the talents of former Mongoose product manager Brian Baldis.

Russell Merry, joint MD at CSGuk and former partner in Hot Wheels said: “I’m excited to have Brian involved in the Xposure brand. His sourcing experience means we able to move more quickly, react faster to the latest trends and ensure we are able to offer best value for money to dealers and riders. It will be exciting to see what we can come up with over the next few months, we have plans for a rider program and bigger ad campaign in the near future.”

Xposure’s rapid growth over the past three years has seen its range of parts expand dramatically, now boasting a complete range of price points, well designed parts including forks, handlebars, brakes, grips, saddles and more, all in a minimum of four colours.

The brand will continue to be based in the UK and led by Chris McArdle (BMX product manager, CSGuk) who is busy working on new packaging, website and marketing materials to build the new international momentum.

Further international distributors are sought and are asked to contact Chris Mcardle.
