Saddleback was awarded as Zipp’s International Distributor of the year at a distributor meeting held at Zipp’s HQ in Indiana, USA.
Saddleback won the award for its work on increasing Zipp sales in the 2008 model year with over a 100 percent increase in year on year sales.
The award was presented to Saddleback director Andy Wigmore by Zipp’s sales and marketing director Brian Gavette, who said:
“Saddleback has turned the UK into one of our top three strongest markets in the world inside a year. They do an excellent job in supporting all areas of the brand and are offering a great level of service and expertise.”
Wigmore said:
“It has been a real pleasure to work with Zipp this last year. They are a great group of people who are very passionate about what they do and incredibly particular about the product they make.
“Our biggest challenge this year has been keeping up with the demand we have created which is something that we have now rectified and we are confident that with a very supportive group of Zipp dealers we can grow our Zipp sales again considerably in 2009.”
