Norco bring manufacturers 2010 cyclocross range to territory

Ridley teams up with Norco in Canada

Norco will take on Canadian distribution of the Ridley brand in Canada from this month. The agreement brings the Ridley Bikes and Vellend Tech partnership to an end.

Ridley’s 2010 cyclocross range will be available via Norco from the end of August. The range will introduce cross models with 1.5” oversized head tubes for improved handling. Flagship models include the ‘Noah’ and ‘Dean’.

Ridley is also splashing out on internal developments and moving new premises in the short-term future.

Ridley International Sales Manager Jo McAleer said: “We thank the Vellend Tech team for their commitment to building the Ridley brand and we wish them all the best for the future.

"We are very much looking forward to partnering with Norco with their in depth understanding on the Canadian market and their sales support strategy. Collaborating with Norco will really enhance the level of customer service for Ridley dealers with improved stock availability across the country thanks to their twin warehouse locations in Ontario and Vancouver.”

Norco VP of bicycles Dave Overgaard said of the agreement: “We are very pleased about the opportunity to partner with Ridley for distribution in the Canadian market. Their world class, innovative products are “best in class” and will be an excellent addition to our distributed brands.”
