Ritchey International has opened its online shopping cart functionality at RitcheyLogic.com for the European consumer market.
Online shopping is already available to Ritchey customers in the United States, and the addition of this functionality for Europe is the “final step of the strategic plan” that Ritchey initiated four years ago, the company said, to transform it into a “worldwide omnichannel sales organisation”.
“The possibility to buy products directly on the Ritchey site is the realisation of the experience that we want to offer to specific consumers who visit our site and who want to connect with the brand in the strongest possible way: by finalising their direct purchase,” said Riccardo Deliziosi, global sales director.
Ritchey’s catalog of framesets, components, and accessories is immediately available for purchase, and the shopping functionality on the website also allows customers to purchase replacement items and service parts. The RitcheyLogic.com website includes enhanced and more detailed Ritchey product information, as well as exclusive expanded content that offers “informative articles, engaging stories and entertaining narratives”. All major credit cards are accepted on the website, and customers can choose their preferred shipping method. Orders will be fulfilled through the Ritchey warehouse in Germany.
Jeff Lockwood, international marketing manager, added: “Ritchey has an incredibly deep product offering. Not every retailer or online shop offers all of our products, so the new shopping feature at RitcheyLogic.com allows every customer in Europe the opportunity to buy any Ritchey product, whenever they want.”
Ritchey has said it will continue to support its distributor and independent retailer business with “extreme care and dedication”. Retailers that want to order directly from Ritchey can do so through the Ritchey B2B website, which has been active for nearly two years and offers the complete Ritchey catalog of products. Interested retailers can apply for a B2B account on the Ritchey website or by sending an email to ri_sales@ritcheylogic.com. Ritchey products are also available to UK dealers from Upgrade.
