Debuted at Corebike, distributor now has stock of Californian road and CX label

Ritte stock lands with Silverfish

On the back of debuting Ritte (pronounced Ritt-er) to dealers at CoreBike, Silverfish now has stock and is looking to sign up new stores.

Specialising in road and cyclocross, the label takes its name from the 1919 winner of the famous Tour of Flanders race, Henri “Ritte” Van Lerberghe. Henri lined up at the start of the historic race on a borrowed bike and attacked the pack straight from the gun. Building up a sizable lead by the time he neared the finish line, Ritte decided not to enter the velodrome straight away for his victory lap, instead pulling over at a local pub for refreshment. Several rounds of ‘refreshment’ later Ritte was coaxed back onto his bike and he wobbled over the line to win the race. He had won and had fun doing it.

Founded by Spencer Canon, a long time racer, the brand came from a love and devotion to having fun on two wheels and doing it fast. The race machines come in either carbon or stainless steel. Track and CycloCross models arrive later this year.

“Ritte is a brand that’s been on our radar for quite some time,” said Richie Rowland of Silverfish UK. “Their fun, unique and yet high performing products align well with the ethos of Silverfish and our current portfolio, so we’re really pleased to be able to offer the brand to UK dealers, especially with the recent addition of Supacaz too.”

Dealers interested in stocking the range are encouraged to make contact with Silverfish on 01752 843882.
