Nick Rearden joins consumer site; Website to celebrate third birthday at Eurobike

Road.cc recruits Rearden

Road.cc has added a technical news editor to its team.

Nick Rearden will concentrate on product news coverage, with particular emphasis on parts, accessories and clothing.

Rearden is a well established and highly regarded cycle journalist who has formerly edited the Bicycle Magazine, enjoyed a stint as one of Road.cc’s news editors and most recently worked for Cycling Weekly publisher IPC.

Road.cc editor and co-founder Tony Farrelly said: “Nick has vast experience on the technical side of bicycle journalism and that rare ability to communicate complex technical issues in everyday language.

“It’s great to have him back on the team flying the flag for the gentleman cyclist… his well polished brogues certainly raises the tone of the road.cc office. Having Nick on the team adds to our ability to cover product news and frees up Mat Brett, our technical editor, to do what he does best – reviewing more bikes and getting out to more product launches.”

Product managers, PRs and anyone else with product news can contact Rearden at nick@road.cc.

Road.cc launched in 2008 and will be celebrating its third birthday at Eurobike on Thursday September 1st. Rearden, Road.cc founders Tony Farrelly and Dave Atkinson, technical editor Mat Brett and the rest of the team will be at the Charge stand after the show finished for the day (Stand FG – A4/2). Beers will be provided by Charge.
