Following on from its sell-out success in 2011, the organisers of the Cotswold Spring Classic have teamed up with new title sponsor Santini for the 2012 event.
Sticking to its regular Easter Monday slot, the 2012 Santini Cotswold Spring Classic will be taking place on April 9th .
As in previous years the event will be based at Cirencester College (in the heart of the Cotswolds), where there is ample free parking, changing rooms (with showers), hot finish food for all riders and much more.
With two routes on offer (100km and 160km) it provides a gentle start to the sportive season for those who need it – whether it’s your first proper ride back and you need to check you fitness levels, or you’ve been training hard and want to push your time. Each route will be fully and comprehensively sign-posted, with two feed stations on the longer route and one on the short route. The event will also be cover by NEG motorcycle outrider support, MediBikes and Performance Cycles neutral service to give you the full European sportive experience.
New sponsors Santini will bring an added dimension to the event, with an increased trade village and some extra special giveaways – more details of which will be announced in the New Year.
“As part of our sportive program Santini is excited to be associate the Cotswold Spring Classic. It gives us the chance to showcase Santini clothing and reach out to our core customers,” said Jonathan Sangan Santini brand manager
