Saracen announces commuter e-Bike

Saracen has announced the release of the brand’s first e-bike called the Juiced, the British brand’s first ever motor assisted ride, aimed at urban riders and commuters.

The Juiced takes elements from Saracen’s previous bike range and combines them with the Shimano STEPS e-bike system.

Built around a hydro-formed 6061 aluminium frame, the Juiced uses Shimano’s STEPS E6010 motor mounted on the down tube in conjunction with the smart E6001 drive unit.

Completing the package is a Suntour Axon XC fork and Shimano M506 hydraulic disc brakes, aimed at increasing comfort and relaibility in poor weather conditions.

Jack Geoghegan, Saracen brand manager at Sportline said: “The e-bike market in the UK is really set to take off this year, and we’re very excited to have a bike like the Juiced being added to the Saracen range.

“This bike will introduce the Saracen brand to a whole new range of riders, and open up the world of cycling to new riders that can now use their bikes as a legitimate mode of transport over longer distances.”

Available in 15, 17 or 19 inch frame sizes, the Juiced comes with a RRP of £2,599.99

Saracen is a Sportline brand, and available in the UK either directly through Sportline or one of the many retailers/agents across the country. Visit www.sportlineb2b.co.uk or www.saracen.co.uk for full details.
