Bricks and mortar cycle retailers can get their hands on a limited edition range

Schwalbe celebrates Tour de France with dealer promo

To celebrate the Grand Depart in Yorkshire this year, Schwalbe UK is offering bricks and mortar dealers a limited edition range of three of its favourite road tyres.

The limited edition ‘Durano ETAPE’ range of tyres will feature an eye-catching sporty racing yellow label and white Yorkshire rose.

Included in the range are three Schwalbe favourites – racing tyre ‘Durano S’ and training tyres ‘Durano’ and ‘Durano Plus’. The latter used in the off-season by the Trek Factory Racing Team.

The Durano S ETAPE is the fastest of the Durano range. It has a dynamic slick profile, is less durable than the regular Durano, but lighter and with lower rolling resistance and is available in black, blue, red, silver and white stripes. The long lasting Durano ETAPE is for high mileage. The Dual Compound offers great grip for training on wet winter roads and it has the RaceGuard puncture protection belt. Finally, the Durano Plus ETAPE has maximum puncture protection for winter rides. It has the same SmartGuard puncture protection belt found in the Marathon Plus for protection against penetration punctures (though not as thick)

The Durano ETAPE range will be promoted at the Yorkshire Festival of Cycling at Harewood House in early July and advertised in major consumer magazines as well as online from May.

These limited edition tyres are available only to UK bricks and mortar dealers from April to sell in May, June and July. Dealers are advised to contact their Schwalbe distributor to pre-order and take advantage of the margins on offer.
