Former ad manager and journalist for the publication joins the team behind the London Bike Show

Singletrack’s Matt Letch joins Vos Media

Matt Letch, formerly of Singletrack Magazine, is joining Vos Media, working alongside Frazer Clifford and assisting with the continued growth of The London Bike Show.

The third edition of the show took place in January and attracted 38,139 visitors, an 18 per cent increase from 2012, said Vos. Over 200 exhibitors were in attendance in 2013, up from just 50 in its 2011 debut appearance. The 2013 show also hosted the UK’s first ever indoor Criterium, the IG London Nocturne.

On joining Vos Media – which has recently been taken over by the Telegraph Media Group – Matt Letch, business development manager, said: “Having been on the other side of the fence, it was a no brainer to join the ever expanding show in London. Everyone who works in the bike industry is amazed at how quickly this show has grown and established itself as a key date in the diary of manufacturers, store owners, other cycling related businesses, and cyclists themselves.

“The show’s moving to February in 2014 and the new date line will allow the show to grow significantly further. The City workers will have been paid their bonuses, its closer to spring and the co-location with the Outdoor Adventure & Travel Show and the MCN Motorcycle Show is going to work really well for the show.

“The Telegraph have recently taken over VOS Media and the support of the UK’s leading broadsheet will offer the show, including exhibitors and sponsors additional opportunities and extensive marketing support which will help with the show’s growth.

“Feedback from industry friends and clients agreed this is a great opportunity for me and for VOS to utilise my 10 years+ working in the cycle industry and I’m looking forward to getting started.”

The London Bike Show will return to ExCeL London from February 13th to 16th 2014.
