The media world has put two and two together following the announcement of a press conference to be held later this week about Sir Chris Hoy.
Sir Chris will be making ‘a major announcement’ in Edinburgh this Thursday (April 18th) where it is expected the cycle Olympian will reveal he will retire. Hoy has previously pinpointed spring as the time he’d make the announcment on his competitive future.
Last year, Hoy revealed a bike range – produced with Evans Cycles – calling it a project he could work on "five, ten, 20 years ahead".
Sir Chris Hoy holds six gold and one silver Olympic medals.
