New packaging revamp simplifies nutrition messages and explains most efficient use of product lines

SiS reveals sales boosting POS

Science in Sport has launched a number of initiatives to boost the brand’s retail sales, including new packaging, POS, and give-away DVDs featuring cycle stars.

SiS’ educational DVDs – including ‘Full gas with Fabian Cancellara’ have been given away with 50,000 magazines, designed to cement the brand’s credibility and emphasise it’s endorsement by riders in the pro tour races.

GO Electrolyte Green Tea and Lemon, Smart 1 Drink and Blueberry and Redberry GO Bars have recently joined the SiS 2011 range of GO electrolyte, GO Gels and REGO recovery products.

The brand, designed and manufactured in Lancashire, said it was committed to keeping cycling at its heart, with SiS’ own sales representatives on hand for pull through and sales support activities.

Condor Cycles is one of the firms currently working closely with SiS. Condor Production director Neil Manning said: “Condor Cycles have always looked for the best available products on the market for its customers. When Science in Sport introduced the original PSP22 powders, we were proud to be the first SiS retailer. Since that day SiS has remained our number one energy brand, despite so many having competition from other players in the market-including many body building brands.

“Science in Sport works closely with independent retailers, like Condor, and offers good training support on new products so our sales team can sell the products with confidence.”

SiS product is available to the trade through Madison, Bob Elliot and Moore Large.
