The Airstep foot pump from SKS Germany has been awarded with an iF Design Award 2019, making it one of the winners of the ‘world-renowned’ design label.
The international jury recognised its ‘detail-loving workmanship’ as well as its ‘user-friendly’ features. These include the large pressure gauge and the integrated storage space for the spiral hose.
Over 6,375 entries were submitted from 52 countries, which were scrutinised by a jury made up of 67 independent experts from all over the world.
Christoph Kohnen, product manager at SKS Germany, said: “The air pumps from SKS Germany stand for high quality and durability. We always aspire to attractive product aesthetics in combination with functionality. We are therefore very pleased that our work has been honoured by the iF Design Award.”
ZyroFisher showcased SKS at COREbike 2019, as well as other brands including Tacx, Abus, Altura, Bell, CamelBak, Hamax, Giro, Torq, Fenwicks and Panaracer.
