Six MTB events will be staged across the UK, from April through to June. As well as races there will be demo ride opportunities from both brands. Giant's On Dirt Demo at the Mountain Mayhem 24-hour event will be one of the events in the Specialized Challenge Series.

Specialized partners with Giant to create MTB series

Specialized partnered with Giant, SRAM, Magura and the Forestry Commission. The exclusive media partner is MBR although SIngletrack mag is still the media partner for Mountain Mayhem.

The series organiser is Patrick Adams of ProVelo.

Each Challenge Series day will have two rides to suit riders’ varied abilities, in addition to demo rides. The Enduro 6 weekend will incorporate a ‘Ladies Day’ on 28th April.

Ian Beasant, MD of Giant UK, said: “We are delighted to be working with Specialized on their Challenge Series in conjunction with the already established Giant Dirt Demo. This partnership offers everyone the chance to test the latest product from both Specialized and Gian. It is all about the consumer having fun whatever their ability.”
