Distributor anticipates Christmas buying surge

Split Second secures christmas BMX stock

Split Second Imports has announced that it has taken stock of all four of its BMX brands complete bikes in anticipation of a late surge of orders this month.

With the majority of bikes within the £150 to £300 retail price band already sold out among many distributors, retailers will have limited sources from which to obtain BMX bikes pre-christmas – something Split Second has anticipated.

Dan Haynes, the UK sales manager told BikeBiz: "Despite another year of high-demand for BMX complete bikes, we have taken steps to ensure that all four of our brands – Ruption, Blank, Stolen and Eastern – will have plenty of free-stock in the run-up to Christmas, even after the masses of pre-orders have been taken care of."

He added: "The price points range from £169.99, right through to £749.99, so we have every RRP catered for, as well as bikes of every kind of spec, from entry-level through intermediate and up to pro."
