The UK cycle trade got its first look at the SRAM Red Black groupset today at Fisher Outdoor Leisure’s Expo 2011, as part of a simultaneous global unveiling.
The Red Black groupset, set to be ridden by World Tour Teams like Garmin-Cervelo, Saxo Bank Sungard and Liquigas-Cannondale, was on show at the Sopwell House-set event.
“We’re thrilled to be part of the global product launch for this new top of the line groupset from SRAM," enthused Tim Bayley, SRAM product manager for Fisher. "Offering different styling but the same outstanding performance as SRAM Red, this is another quality addition to the SRAM Road portfolio, which is growing rapidly in all the pro, race and sportive sectors.”
The groupset follows the SRAM Red LTE (Red Yellow) groupset – released as a limited edition earlier this year.
