Tacx debuts PC virtual reality trainer

Using computer graphics and 3D sound, Tacx has created a virtual reality trainer that is interactive, removing some of the boredom from churning out the miles indoors.

Unlike other ‘virtual reality’ cycle trainers, the I-magic set-up has the capability of allowing the rider to steer the bike, receiving instant resistance feed back when climbing hills, drafting other riders or changing road surface.

It has also the facility of being a serious training aid, monitoring power output, heart rate, cadence and speed.
