If you want to go to the end-of-October event, the Taiwanese government's Bureau of Foreign Trade has ponied up some cash to send five BikeBiz.com readers FOC. The first five respondents to Lance Cox of TAITRA in London get free flights and hotel stays in Taipei. Hurry, hurry!

Taiwan’s new motorbike show has electric bicycles too

Lance Cox said: "Building on the success of Taipei Cycle, the organisers of the inaugural Taipei International Motorcycle show from 27-29 October 2006 have included electrical and power-assisted bikes in the product line-up for the show, giving [bike trade] visitors a second chance to see what’s on offer in this rapidly growing sector."

The show sponsor, the Taiwanese government’s Bureau of Foreign Trade, is offering as an incentive free flights and hotel accommodation to the first five UK bike trade members to sign up to attend the show.

At least ten percent of the expo space is currently devoted to pedelecs, with more expected to be added.

To be in with a chance of grabbing the flights and hotel offer, email Lance Cox at inquiry.london@taitra.org.tw
