Sukk, Tetley's new jelly drink sponsors a Critical Mass style ride in Manchester on 3rd June

Tea brand pumps cash into bike ride

Sukk is a green tea jelly drink in lemon or kiwi flavours. It’s healthy, says the Clever Jelly Co. Brand owner Tetley has commissioned PR and events firm Mad Media of London to promote the drink with a mass participation evening bike ride in Manchester.

The Sukk and Ride event takes place on Thursday, June 3rd and has the support of Manchester City Council. Participants are being encouraged to wear green, and bring whistles and soundsystems.

"The aim is to create a mobile party that tours the city," said Mad Media’s Andrew Ferguson. Mad Media has used bikes in previous hands-on events, including BMX events for Red Bull.

The event starts at Bicycle Boutique on Hillcourt Street in the centre of Manchester. The route has been devised by campaign group IBIKE MCR.

Naturally, the event has a Facebook page. Those who register are entered into a prize draw for a Charge Plug fixie, supplied by Evans Cycles.
