Many missing out due to card payment issues

TfL receives 600 plus Cycle Hire applications in first 40 minutes?

Early indications show that uptake of the Cycle Hire membership scheme has been strong – with TfL reportedly stating 600 applied in the first 40 minutes of launch.

An annual subscription to the service will set customers back £45, plus a £3 key charge. Find out more on payment and hire periods here. A video explaining how to use the Cycle Hire docking stations can be seen here.
