The broadcast will be from Harrogate where CTC was formed. Amongst other things it will feature four photos of cyclists in the Victorian era provided by CTC. The programme comes just months before CTC's 125th anniversary.

The CTC is so old it’s to feature on BBC1’s Antiques Roadshow!

Stanley Cotterell and Thomas Holding were amongst around 50 people who met in Harrogate on August 5, 1878 to form the Bicycle Touring Club, the world’s first cycling club.

The Antiques Roadshow programme is due for broadcast on Sunday October 13th at 6.45pm.
