Tony Doyle has today announced the formation of a new bicycle skills training company – UK Bike Skills Ltd.
Tony has launched his company with an already broad range of skills courses that are set to multiply as he adds further qualifications to his already significant CV of training awards.
“People have been on at me to do something like this for years, and to be fair I’ve been unofficially training friends in MTB and road racing for nearly 20 years now. Passing the CTC Skills Training Course has opened the doors for me, and I’m genuinely excited to get out among the UK riding population and show them my approach to teaching and riding.”
“We’re in a very enviable position in that we have a talent base that most other companies can only dream about. You want to learn Northshore style riding? I built Herts Shore and we’ll be teaching there. You want to learn BMX? We have Mark Atkins onboard as co-instructor, he has nine World Titles and over 400 contest wins to his name.
"We’ve also recently managed to secure the talents of Zach Shaw, arguably one of the most respected BMX riders in the World. You want to learn to jump? We have one of the designers and builders of Chicksands bike park onboard. You want to learn 4X, we have a World level rider on-board as a co-instructor."
UK Bike Skills will be offering some very special one and two day courses next year to get people up to speed in specific skills areas like Northshore and downhill techniques, in time for people’s trips to the Alps and Canada. Doyle’s newly-formed company has also lined up some overseas coaching in Spain next year with Basque MTB.
