Store staff – Sonder and Alpkkit

Mechanic – Quest Adventure

Mechanic required to join a busy shop on the South Coast. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm for riding matched to a passion for perfection in all things mechanical. As part of a lively team you will be working in a Cytech accredited workshop on high end road and mountain bikes. Cytech training is useful but not essential, experience is. Worthing is located on the edge of the national park with no shortage of road or off road riding in the doorstep. Salary dependant on experience.

Senior mechanic – Cyclelink

Cyclelink needs an experienced mechanic (three years plus) who is keen to develop their career and take on the role of senior mechanic with responsibility for the workshop. It works collaboratively in order to share skills and best practice to give its customers the reliable, high quality service they have come to expect and enjoy. In addition to this you will manage workshop bookings and provide accurate quotations so it is essential that you can accurately assess workshop jobs and offer advice both verbally and by text or e-mail. Although previous experience is essential, it believes in developing staff and you will receive on-going training to grow your skills. Although it is open six days per week, this role is based on a five day week to include alternate Saturdays at the shop in Thames Ditton.

Warranty service technician – Silverfish

Silverfish has a vacancy for an experienced warranty service technician to support its warranty and technical service functions. This will be a challenging role as the successful candidate will be highly experienced in all aspects of cycle mechanics, wheel servicing and wheel building. They will also have a proven track record in providing high class customer service as well as a knowledge of its products and the services that its currently offers. The successful candidate will have wide-ranging work shop experience covering all disciplines. Sound working knowledge of current full suspension mountain bike technology is desirable. Possess good knowledge and experience of working with wheel systems such as Easton, Shimano, Mavic, Race Face and e13. They will also have a sound understanding of Shimano and SRAM gear systems including developing technologies such as electronic group sets.

Bike mechanics – Beryl

Beryl is looking for a talented team of bike mechanics to join it to deliver a new and exciting transport system in Bournemouth and Poole – its cycle share scheme. A sustainable, healthy, and affordable transportation option for residents and visitors. Its new bike maintenance technicians will be responsible for keeping the wheels moving. You will need to be conscientious, flexible and have a can do attitude. Most importantly, you will be making yourself invaluable to the scheme and the community. You will have a wonderful opportunity to work within one of the country’s most exciting cycle scheme providers, and take an integral role in its operations as one of its bike maintenance technicians.
