Showroom assistant – Ribble Cycles

As part of an exciting development, the opportunity has arisen for a showroom assistant to join Ribble’s retail team at its new temporary pop-up store in Kent – Bluewater. Reporting into the showroom manager, the role will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the showroom. The role will be focused around sales and customer service; with the ideal candidate possessing an entrepreneurial flair to assist the manager in driving its B2B sales and pursuing local opportunities to grow the brand’s presence and establish the showroom as a prominent local bike destination.

Skilled technician – Mountain Mania Cycles

Mountain Mania Cycles has a new full-time vacancy for a skilled or semi-skilled technician who can also assist with sales when required. Essential skills require a flexible self driven and motivated team player with excellent communication skills. Knowledgeable and an interest in cycling essential but training for the right candidate will be provided. It offers a very attractive salary and benefits package which includes pension, employee purchase and cycle scheme options and opportunities for career developments.

J.Laverack rouler/bike fitter – J.Laverack Bicycles

The role, reporting directly to the co-founders: work with clients from initial contact right through to collection of their bicycle and after-sales care, provide timely communication with clients via email and phone, manage and be accountable for custom build projects, develop bike fitting skills, build bicycles in the workshop and assist in the development of products. Having experience of bike fitting and retail would be an advantage but this is not essential if you have an interest in the subject and would be willing to learn from the in-house bike fitter. Being part of a small team means a can-do attitude is essential as the role will continue to evolve and all team members will be expected to help in other areas during busy periods.

Bike mechanic – Ride Bikes

Your primary role will be on the tools ensuring that all work is completed professionally and efficiently. You will also be required to support the retail side when necessary. Ideally the role is full time, but we would consider part-time. Ideally you will have Cyctech or equivalent qualifications with relevant industry experience, although this is not essential as training will be given to the successful applicant. The ideal candidate will be someone with good time management, self-sufficient, reliable and responsible. You will be part of a small team where maintaining excellent customer service is a key priority.

Sales assistant – Ribble Cycles

The opportunity has arisen for a showroom assistant to join the retail team at Ribble’s flagship Birmingham showroom. Reporting into the showroom manager, the role will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Birmingham showroom, as well as deputising for the manager in their absence. The role will be focused around sales and customer service; with the ideal candidate possessing an entrepreneurial flair to assist the manager in driving the B2B sales and pursuing local opportunities to grow the brand’s presence and establish the showroom as a prominent local bike destination.
