Top five jobs of the week – 13th April

1. Head mechanic
Tiso Aviemore, the technical flagship store within the business, will be opening its doors in Summer 2018. The shop is currently looking to recruit an experienced head mechanic to work in its Alpine Bikes concession within the Tiso Aviemore store. The successful candidate will have experience working in the bike industry and will ideally be qualified to Cytech Level 2 or equivalent. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly of new bikes, identifying faults, damage and wear, carrying out minor repairs e.g. repairing punctures and repairing/replacing damaged or worn-out components, amongst other key tasks. 2. Sales assistant
Leisure Lakes Bikes is passionate about providing great customer service and as its product and customer client base is so diverse, it requires a candidate with a good knowledge of all bikes from commute, road, hybrids etc to full suspension, electric mountain bikes and beyond. The shop would like to hear from candidates who are computer literate and enjoy socialising and interacting with others. Experience within the cycle retail market, although desirable, is not essential, as most of all, it is looking for a candidate who has a passion for cycling and a desire to work in the fast growing cycling industry. Full description and how to apply here.

3. Mechanic
Biketreks is seeking a full-time mechanic for its Ings store based near Windermere in the Lake District. The Ings store predominantly sells road, hybrid and electric bikes but does service mountain bikes along with the Ambleside store. Answering to the store manager, you will have responsibility of the workshop, and you will work together towards annual targets and monthly forecasts.Turn out of the highest quality is essential as Biketreks works on bikes and frames from brands such as Specialized, Scott, Bergamont, Mason, Open, Factor, Alchemy and Vielo. Full description and how to apply here.

4. E-mail marketing executive
