A really exciting opportunity for a full-time bicycle mechanic to join Life Cycle UK’s growing team in Derby. Our successful bicycle refurbishment project, Bike Back Derby is going form strength-to-strength and we are seeking a skilled mechanic to help us take our operations to the next level. Bike Back Derby works in partnership with the prison service to refurbish bicycles. We are seeking an excellent bicycle mechanic with ambition and drive to run our refurbishment programme. You will have great mechanic skills, work well with a wide range of people including volunteers and prisoners, and be able to organise and maintain a well-equipped workshop. You will have a good understanding of health and safety issues, be able to cope with a busy working environment and getting jobs done on time to a high standard.
Senior mechanic – The Bike Project
The Bike Project is a fun, interesting and supportive place. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced mechanic to work within our small team to help manage and oversee the day-to-day operations in our West Midlands workshop.
