Full time mechanic – Bespoke Cycling

Bespoke Cycling is looking for an experienced mechanic to join the team in its busy central London workshops. Formal qualifications are valued, but what’s most important is that you have a thorough knowledge and practical experience of the latest technologies, including electronic shifting. Most of your time will be spent working on road bikes, but will see bikes from all disciplines pass through the shops. You’ll be working in well equipped, modern workshops, moving between the two London stores as required, often talking to customers directly about the work required on their bikes. Excellent communication skills are a must. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with accuracy and attention to detail.

3 x sales assistant – Velorution

All applicants should have experience working within the cycling industry within retail and if you have any experience working with e-bikes this would be ideal. Applicants for the sales positions should have experience within retail, be computer literate, enthusiastic, customer focused and willing to work hard to achieve personal and company goals and targets. You should also have ambition to move up in the company by proving yourself a valuable addition to the team and going above and beyond the company expectations.

Experienced mechanic – Saddle Safari

Saddle Safari is looking for a well organised, enthusiastic and personable individual to join its busy workshop team. You must be self-motivated and possess excellent personal skills to deliver great customer service. You need to be a skilled and experienced mechanic with level two Cytech qualification or equivalent. You will need to help maintain a safe, clean and modern workshop environment and ensure that the quality of work is at the highest level. Your responsibilities will include customer liaison, managing stock as part of a modern EPOS system, ordering and warranty issues. You will be expected to communicate with management over workshop targets and performance, strategies, ideas and problem solving. 

Website administrator – Upgrade Bikes

Upgrade is seeking to recruit an individual to strengthen its website team and improve its digital footprint. It has a full time (40hrs per week) vacancy for a website administrator. Responsibilities include: data entry such as populating metadata and linking cross sell product, content editing; implementing requests from the team at Upgrade Bikes and its suppliers, maintaining consistency between Upgrade Bikes and its suppliers’ websites, and working within Upgrade Bikes and its suppliers style guides.

Sales assistant/store manager – On Yer Bike Cycles

In its newly opened Lancaster site, it is looking to cement its ‘growing reputation of being one of the best bike shops in the North West’. Your role will include everything involved in being part of a bike shop, including sales, satisfying customers, ensuring accurate stock and general promotion of the store. Any mechanical knowledge is an advantage but a general knowledge and love of bikes is a must. You must be able to work weekends when required, and part time and full time positions are available.
