1.Store manager

Giant Newport Pagnell is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced store manager to join the team. The position requires an experienced individual with knowledge of bikes, good management and organisation skills. This varied role requires great communication and sales skills. The candidate must be able to deal with all enquiries that come with the territory of bicycle store, including service, repairs and helping customers find their next cycling adventure. They will have an ability to organise workload and move between tasks according to priority, and be detail conscious.

2. Customer services support

i-ride.co.uk is the UK’s leading lightweight cycle distributor. Its portfolio includes Fulcrum Wheels, De Rosa, Argon 18, Orro, Continental, Speedplay, Thomson, Northwave and many more prestigious brands. The key part of this role is to engage with customers to ensure they have the support in fulfilling their orders for company products including dealing with queries on the telephone or via email or website livechat etc.

3. Mechanic/ bike builder

Fairlight Cycles is looking for a new mechanic/ bike build technician to join the team. The role will initially involve the assembly of bicycles to a very high standard for the shop’s discerning customer base. Each one of its bikes is built to the customer’s specification and set up to their bike fit data. Fairlight produces some of the nicest steel bikes made, so it’s critical that they are built to the highest standard. This is a critical role for the business.

4. Manager

Cycleservice is looking for a new manager to run its independent bike shop. This is very much a hands-on role initially and the manager will also be tasked to recruit additional help. Cycleserve stocks some excellent brands including Trek, Orbea and Raleigh bikes. The ideal candidate must have current mechanical skills and experience. They must have a customer-facing quality as this is the key to business promotion.

5. Sales representative

Lyon Equipment Limited is an employee-owned company. Its aim is to provide ‘equipment and expertise to venture further’ to the cycle, outdoor, work at height and rescue industries. Due to continued growth within Lyon’s cycle division, it is seeking to appoint a cycle sales representative to cover the North of the UK. It is looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised individual to further enhance the service it provides to its customers and suppliers within this sector. A strong passion for adventure cycling and knowledge of our products would be advantageous.
