Senior workshop mechanic – Gary’s Cycles

Gary’s Cycles is looking for a senior bicycle mechanic to head up its Shimano Service Centre workshop as its business continues to grow. This is a full time permanent position. The successful candidate will be an experienced bike mechanic with a minimum of three years of experience in the industry. You should be able to carry out all aspects of bicycle repairs to the highest standard, including, but not limited to: bleeding and adjustment of hydraulic disc brakes, installation of all types of bottom bracket units, replacement of headset and bearings, wheel axle replacement, buckles and spoke replacement. Knowledge of electronic gear systems and usage of Shimano’s eTube software is required.

Sales advisors – Giant St Pauls

Giant St Pauls is looking for sales advisors to join us as we approach our busiest time of year. Experience of working in cycle retail is desirable but what’s more important is that you have a passion for cycling and cycle sport. If you already work in retail and want to move into the cycle industry, it wants to hear from you. Workshop mechanic – Velosport

The position is a permanent full-time role and will require weekend work. It is looking for an experienced bike mechanic, ideally with Cytech Level 2 qualification, who can share the day to day running of the workshop with our existing mechanic. You will need to have great customer service skills as well as the required technical ability to perform well in this role. Salary will be dependent on experience.

Area account manager – EBCO

This is a field-based role and you will be responsible for the development and growth of your area account portfolio you will also be required to develop new business. You will be backed up by a focused experienced and professional in-house team. It is a results-driven company that is growing rapidly and the role offers the right candidates an attractive salary, plus commission structure with OTE of £35k+ a fully expensed company vehicle, laptop and company phone. The successful candidate will be expected to live in the area.

Bike mechanic – Impressed London

As one of our mechanics, tinkering on your bike will no longer be just a hobby. We want hands-on, technically minded individuals who understand the importance of taking care of our customer’s pride and joy. You will be helping keep our customer’s wheels turning. What it expects: experience in a bike shop environment is essential, adept in mechanical repairs, personable outgoing nature that can proactively build great relationships with customers, be approachable and able to demonstrate strong communication skills that are tailored to customers with varying levels of cycling experience, a flexible and adept team player and strong problem-solving skills.
